Everything about Talaud Islands totally explainedTalaud Islands is a group of islands located north of Sulawesi island in Indonesia. It is one of the regencies of North Sulawesi. The Talaud Islands are also the northernmost region of Indonesia, bordering the Philippines.
There are 77 islands in the archipelago, of which 56 are inhabited. Most of the population of 260,370 (1996) are involved in agriculture, which includes coconuts, vanilla, nutmeg, and cloves. Numerous volcanoes produce very fertile volcanic soil on many of the islands. (External Link )
